As of May 2026, I've done 180+ school kindness assemblies and shared over 200,000 hearts with students all across the country. I've also participated in hundreds of community and religious events.

I do not speak about suicide prevention or antibullying, rather, I show how I make my stone hearts, then share stories and experiences I've had hiding them in public places and handing them out. I adjust which stories I tell based on the age of my audience.

I offer each person in attendance, children and grownups alike, their own heart rock reminder to keep their whole life to remind them that they are amazing, their life is a miracle, and that the world is a better place because they are in it. By offering one to everyone, and bringing extras, I don't single anyone out, or leave anyone out. I encourage everyone to keep it for as long as they need it, perhaps even their whole life, and when they are ready, to consider passing it on. I invite them to keep their heart rock and give it away daily by using it as a stencil to make paper hearts.

I speak to groups of all ages. I've spoken to preschoolers, school psychologists, students of all ages, business leaders, religious groups, etc.

I emphasize the joy that comes from Reaching Out + Creating Kindness (R.O.C.K.).

I teach the importance of being N.I.C.E.: Noticing others, taking Interest in them, and how that naturally leads to having Empathy and acting with Compassion.

I believe that we are each a powerful force for creating kindness and making the world a better place, starting with our families, friends, and communities.

I know that we can save lives by reminding ourselves and others that they matter, are loved, and are not alone.

I am aware of 126 instances where one of my handmade hearts has been used to prevent a potential death by suicide.
